I hosted a workshop earlier today for some members of my Substack and it was a total blast…
(Don’t worry guys, if you attended, I’m working on the finishing touches for your PDF bonus!)
And I wanted to touch on one of the main points I touched on inside of the workshop…
It was that pretty much all of your problems in your life stem from a failure to be consistent.
(Outside of like getting cancer and stuff like that…)
Whatever it is that you’re looking to achieve if you’re consistent with the time you spend on the process…
You will reach your goal.
But that’s the problem, we have to be consistent with the process…
We have to trust the process…
We have to have faith in the process.
So a lot of what I think plagues people is not that there’s something wrong with them…
It’s just that they’re not consistent.
And it's like “Okay Nick, yeah what you're saying isn't rocket science..”
But that’s the thing, I'm not trying to make this rocket science!
It should be simple, the key to achieving our goals is to be consistent in the area we wish to achieve something
Part of the curse that we have in the age we live in with all this information is that we have people expanding on topics that should be simple…
(Which can be useful to get other people's points of view and perspectives and paradigms and how the world works)
But for most people, this over-consumption of material has led them to become confused, almost like they're drunk on the information.
And you've been taught that to solve the problem you need more information…
Instead of just using what you already know, and taking massive imperfect action.
Because perfection is paralysis.
You already know what you need to do.
You just don’t do it.
Just show the fuck up, that’s it.
Put in the hours, and don’t make fucking excuses.
Is this a hard standard to live by in your life?
Absolutely.
Is it worthwhile?
Yes.
Will you always be perfect?
Nope.
Should your imperfection cause you to fall off the path of discipline and consistency?
Never.
Consistency is not something you do from time to time…
Consistency is A LIFESTYLE.
It’s something you do…
CONSISTENTLY! *Air horn noise*
So go be consistently consistent my friends.
That’s all you need.
